Licinius I, 308-324. Follis (Silvered bronze, 18 mm, 2.91 g, 7 h), Rome, circa 320. IMP LICI-NIVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Licinius I to right. Rev. VIRTV-S AVGG / P - R / R P Campgate with no doors and four turrets. RIC 188 var. (unlisted officina). Extremely rare. Perfectly centered and well struck. About extremely fine.

Extremely rare, and the finest known. This RIC type was described based on a single example in London (officina Q). Today, six additional examples in private hands are known, of which two are in the Ramskold Collection.
